English actor and presenter Richard E. Grant has touched down in Malta to film a brand new documentary series, and he's already fallen head over heels for what our islands have to offer. This is Grant's first visit to Malta, and from the looks of it, the experience has left quite an impression on the seasoned performer.
Grant shared footage on social media whilst travelling between Malta and Gozo, capturing some of our most iconic sights – from Comino's historic tower to the azure seas, rolling countryside, and landmarks dotted across the archipelago. "In Malta filming a new documentary series – first time on the island and mesmerised by the landscape and history," Grant wrote in his post [1].
For those of us who've lived here our whole lives, it's easy to take our surroundings for granted. But watching someone of Grant's calibre experience Malta for the first time – genuinely captivated by what we see every day – it's a reminder of just how special this place really is.
If you've spotted Grant around the islands during filming, Lovin Malta is keen to hear from you. Send any footage or sightings to their team, and you might just get a feature [1].
This visit is another feather in Malta's cap as a filming destination, attracting international talent and production companies to showcase our unique blend of Mediterranean beauty, history, and charm to audiences worldwide.
